How to Book Your Trip

Booking a trip with a Registered Maine Guide is a collaborative process. Here is what you can expect when you contact our Maine Guide team:

1. The Inquiry: Fill out the form below or give us a call. Let us know what dates you are eyeing and what species you want to target (e.g., "September Moose Hunt" or "July Fly Fishing").

2. The Plan: We will get back to you (usually within 24 hours) to confirm availability. We will discuss logistics, gear requirements, and any special accommodations your group might need.

3. The Deposit: To lock in your dates, we require a 50% non-refundable deposit. This secures your spot on our calendar.

4. The Adventure: You show up, and we handle the rest.

Service Area

We operate primarily in Central Maine and the North Woods, but we are flexible and proud to offer select trips anywhere in the state of Maine.

Statewide Availability: Many custom adventures and excursions are available anywhere in Maine upon request.
Fishing & Recreation: Primary zones include Kennebec Valley, Belgrade Lakes (Augusta/Waterville area), Rangley, and Jackman.
Hunting: Wildlife Management Districts (WMDs) 7, 8, 9, 13, 14, 17, and 23.
Moose Hunts: WMDs 4, 7, 8, 9, and 14.

Frequently Asked Questions Before You Contact

What information do I need to provide?

When you contact our Maine Guide staff, please include:

Group Size: How many hunters/anglers?
Experience Level: Are you a beginner or an expert?
Dates: Do you have flexible dates or a hard deadline?
Lodging: Do you need recommendations for where to stay?

What forms of payment do you accept?

We accept Cash, Check, and Venmo. The remaining balance of your trip cost is due on the day the trip begins.

What is your cancellation policy?

We understand that plans change. If you cancel 30 days or more prior to your scheduled trip, your deposit can be used to reschedule for a future date. If you cancel within 30 days, the deposit is forfeited. In the unlikely event that we (the guide service) have to cancel, you will receive a 100% refund.
