With more than 30 years of hunting and fishing experience, Jason Thibodeau is a seasoned Maine guide who lives for time spent in the woods and on the water. Born with a drive for wilderness adventure, Jason has built a lifetime of skills around understanding wild places—and sharing that knowledge with others. As a licensed Maine Guide, Jason specializes in big-game hunts that include still-hunting and tracking deer, moose, and bear, as well as expert-led fishing expeditions. His expertise includes guiding canoe float trips on the legendary Kennebec River, navigating historic waters for the trout and salmon "Grand Slam" or high-action smallmouth bass fishing. While he’s comfortable guiding any type of trip, Jason is most at home deep in remote country, where patience, woodsmanship, and hard-earned experience make all the difference. Whether floating a river current, navigating a quiet trout stream, or following fresh sign through the timber, Jason brings a calm, confident approach and a deep respect for the outdoors. His passion lies in helping others connect with Maine’s wild places and passing along the skills he’s spent a lifetime developing.
