There is no sound in the woods quite like the gobble of a wild turkey. Our corner of Central Maine is rolling dairy farms and hardwood ridges with a booming population of Eastern wild turkeys, and our guides know where those birds move whether it is May or October.
Two seasons to choose from:
- Spring: calling toms off the roost
- Fall: finding and scattering flocks
We hunt mostly WMDs 17 and 23, where flocks of 50 or more birds in the fields are not uncommon.

We begin at legal shooting light to catch birds off the roost, on ground we scout all year. Your turkey hunt includes:

These are big, mature Eastern birds, and they are smart and wary. In spring you are calling a tom off the roost; in fall the hunt is about finding a flock and scattering it. It is a great first hunt if you are bringing someone new.

How cancellations work
- Free rescheduling 30+ days outCancel 30 or more days before your trip and your deposit moves to a new date.
- Inside 30 days, the deposit is keptIf you cancel with less than 30 days’ notice, or don’t show up, the deposit is forfeited.
- If we cancel, you chooseIf we call a trip off for weather, unsafe conditions or any other reason, you pick a new date or a full refund.

Before You Book
Common Questions
What does a guided turkey hunt cost?
A full day guided hunt starts at $500 per day and includes a field lunch. A half day is $350 for four hours, morning or afternoon, with snacks and drinks.
Can I hunt turkeys in spring and fall?
Yes. Maine has both a spring season, when you are calling a tom off the roost, and a fall season, when the hunt is about finding and scattering a flock.
Where do you hunt turkeys?
Mostly WMDs 17 and 23 and the ground around them, where the Eastern wild turkey population is strong.
How far ahead should I book?
The first week of the season is usually spoken for months in advance, so early is better.
