Maine is more than a destination; it is a tradition. From the rugged North Woods to the rolling farmlands of the Kennebec Valley, this state offers some of the most diverse and rewarding hunting in the Northeast. At Thibodeau Outdoor Adventures, we specialize in Maine Guided Hunting Trips that honor that tradition.
Whether you are holding a "once-in-a-lifetime" Moose Permit, chasing the ghost of the North Woods (Whitetail Deer), or listening for the thunderous gobble of a Spring Turkey, our goal is the same: to put you in the right spot at the right time. As a Veteran-owned Registered Maine Guide service, we pride ourselves on scouting, preparation, and hard work. We don't just take you for a walk in the woods; we take you on a hunt.

The Maine woods are vast, dense, and unforgiving. Success here requires local knowledge.

We strategically provide guided hunts across Maine’s most productive Wildlife Management Districts (WMDs), ensuring a high-quality experience for hunters. Our access points and primary focus areas offer excellent proximity to key regional hubs, making your journey into the wild seamless.

Maine Wildlife Management Districts
Jackman Focus: WMDs 4, 7, 8, and 9 are the heart of Northern Maine’s wilderness and our prime destination for Moose Hunts. This remote region, easily accessed via the historic Route 201 corridor, offers vast, unpressured habitat for trophy bull moose.
Waterville/Skowhegan Proximity: WMDs 13, 14, and 17 offer excellent mixed-bag hunting opportunities for deer, bear, and a limited number of moose. These zones are more accessible from the Waterville and Skowhegan areas, balancing accessibility with quality habitat.
Augusta Corridor: WMD 23 is situated near the capital city of Augusta and offers robust hunting for white-tailed deer and wild turkey, including expanded archery opportunities. It’s a great choice for hunters looking for a quality experience closer to southern amenities.
Dates for prime seasons (especially November Deer and September/October Moose) fill up months in advance. If you are ready to experience the Maine woods with a guide who is as invested in your success as you are, reach out today.
